Working with landscape as a medium of representation has found broad applications. Recent earthen sculptures are constructed from site-specific wild clay. Plein air painting outdoors has been a focus for over a decade. Participation in land art symposiums over the years have introduced communal activities shared with other artists. And as a pioneering artisan breadmaker Niel has made significant contributions over the years when working with agriculturists and artisans, while activating and developing countless home bakers in their practice.
